Number Five
Green Shoots and New Lambs of Spring

I wasn’t sure whether to go for it today but again I felt the spirit of Neil Mackenzie on my shoulder saying, “Pete, just do it”. Feeling Ok to Aviemore I did exactly that. The day was cool to start, then warmed up nicely and by the time I reached Grantown it was shorts and short sleeves. Definitely a 3 cappuccino day but I was in no rush to get home early. Abiding memory is miles and miles of peaceful traffic free roads surround by all the green shoots and new lambs of spring, all bathed in glorious sunshine. A day to long remember, thanks Neil.
