It’s a nice area and as I was going up & not down the views were very different. Felt strong on the climbs and heart rates were very low. Sat for a while in the sun taking in the stunning views whilst eating lunch. Came out onto the Tiede road at 950m and enjoyed the descent down to La Orotava which I last did slowly in the thick wet mist a few days ago. Continue reading Tenerife – 2015

Number 4 Teide Downhill Caught the ‘Bike Bus’ to Tiede Parador (hotel) and cycled ‘home’. A small fee allows you to put your bike in the bus and get driven up the Parador at 2300m, mostly mountain bikers looking for the many interesting trails back to sea level.
