Number 9
West Coast Wall to Wall Sunshine
There are almost no words to describe today’s beauty, it was without doubt wonderful west coast at it’s very very best. Wall to wall sunshine naturally, superb air clarity, no wind, warm but not hot with woodland giving dappled shade which was cool but not unpleasant. There was a downside, it was a bit cold at the start but the mist made everything even more atmospheric. Curious elevation profile, temperatures from 5c to 26c (on September 30th!). HR’s gave up as usual, probably the battery. Add on excellent bacon roll, cake & coffee at Acharacle and feeling fit and strong all day . It all adds up to a perfect day in my life. Photo’s don’t really capture the faultlessness of this day.
